Either way, fall is a great time to turn to your favorite reality show, entertainment news show or celebrity gossip magazine to find out what the new trends of the new season are.

It's also a great time to go through your closets and get rid of all of those Guess jeans lurking in the dark recesses (yes, I DID see someone wearing some the other day- Guess jean shorts- to the knee- remember those?), the clothes that are missing buttons that you were going to replace and the old, broken, or tarnished jewelry taking up the real estate of your jewelry box.

If you haven't done so already, splurge on some matching hangers, (maybe wooden?) and then organize your closet. Be tough on yourself and purge all of the stuff you've been hanging on to "just in case". Opening your closet should be a treat when you're done, plus, you'll have room for fall's new items.
