Fun at the Funkin Patch! - Wednesday, October 7, 2009
In preparation for our annual pumpkin carving contest, we headed out to the "Funkin" Patch. For those of you who are not up to date on the latest in pumpkin carving, Funkins are fake pumkins that you can carve... they don't rot AND you don't have to scoop the guts out! Faster, easier and much cleaner!
Whitney and Renee' had a "Funkins Gone Wild" moment, Shawn hid amongst the scarecrows and everyone tried on cute animal faces. You know, pretty much the usual pumpkin patch activities, minus the  corn maze and facepainting~
Once our adventures at the Funkin Patch were
completed, we headed back to Ritual where we
got down to business. Everyone had their own
unique take on the perfect Funkin, using different methods to create perfection.
Refreshments of kettlecorn and mimosas were on hand to make things festive. A strange combination, maybe for some, but it worked for us!
We'll be posting pictures soon of the finished 
products so that you can vote for your favorite!
