One Fish, Two Fish... - Wednesday, September 30, 2009
Meet our new fish! Lisa was so broken hearted when Valentino passed away, that she ran right out and got these two little guys. Their names have been the topic of great discussion... Starsky and Hutch, Matt and Johnny, Dolce and Gabana... and after yesterday, Marchello and Lucky. Don't tell PETA, but yesterday, Lisa scooped the little guys out of their bowl so she could give their house a good cleaning and while she was out of the room, one of them ("Lucky", on the left) jumped out of the cup he was in and lay stranded on the counter top. We're not sure how long he was there, but when he was found, he was no longer gasping for water. He got scooped up and tossed back into his home where things looked bleak for a bit... he was floating upside down for awhile! But, Lucky him, he managed to survive the day and today, he was looking great! Here's to hoping that all fish stay in their bowls!
